We love to have fun things happening in our neighborhood. 

  • Coffee in the Park was so much fun! We will be scheduling another when the weather warms up.
  •  Egg Roll will be happening again this spring. No date is set yet, but stay tuned. Easter falls early this year on April 5th so we will be scheduling in late March
  • HOA Community Meeting  - Mark your calendar and join us at the Park Pavillion on May 12th at 6:30p. We will have guest speakers TBA
  • Annual Yard Sale event is the 3rd Saturday in May: 5/16/26

Deed Restrictions

The purpose behind the Misty Vale Farm Deed Restrictions is to maintain the beauty and atmosphere of our neighborhood.  In order to keep our home values current with the market we have to maintain our properties and common areas and we want our home to be safe, clean and fantastic! Who do I contact if I see a streetlight is out?

You can report a Misty Vale Farm street light outage several different ways.  You can inform a Misty Vale Farm board member and we will report it for you.  You can report the street light out by going online to www.delmarva.com go to service requests or by calling Delmarva Power (800) 375-7117.  You will need to know the pole number or the address closest to the pole to make the request.  Thank you Melissa.

HOA Dues & Finances

2026 Invoices were mailed and should have been received. If you would like to discuss your HOA account, please contact Lisa Kobus, Treasurer: lisakobus82@gmail.com

Homeowners Association (HOA) Dues

Invoices are sent out in January of each year and are due upon receipt.  If you have lost your invoice you can just mail the check to our Post Office Box 83, Odessa, DE 19730.

Your annual HOA dues of $200/year pay for the maintenance of our development. 

Some of the items that your dues cover are:

  • common area grass cutting and maintenance;
  • snow removal;
  • community signs;
  • playground maintenance, repairs and inspections;
  • electricity for park lights; 
  • ads in the News Journal for annual yard sale;
  • post office box rental;
  • community website;
  • insurance;
  • playground equipment,
  • playground pavilion and parking
  • three entrance sign plantings.

 

Misty Vale Farm has 259 homes.
